Job summary

Construction Material Testing in Texas seeks a senior technician to anchor large structural placements and IBC special inspections. You will lead pours, document the testing record with precision, and mentor junior technicians on site.

You will interface with engineers, building officials, and project superintendents, owning the record from field to file. Willingness to travel for defined projects across multi-state deployments is required.

Qualifications

3+ years CMT or special inspection experience
ICC Reinforced Concrete or Soils, NICET Level II+ or ACI certifications
Willing to travel for defined project programs
Own the testing record on major placements

Responsibilities

Lead fresh-concrete testing and special inspection on structural work and document inspections per project IBC programs
Mentor and check junior field technicians; coordinate daily with superintendents, engineers, and officials
Support multi-state industrial deployments on a project basis
Lead pours and manage the testing rhythm at the truck, ensuring a defensible record during audits
Travel for defined project programs and ensure quality of the record across sites
