ECS Limited is hiring a Construction Materials Testing Senior Field Technician I to join our South Daytona team. The role involves field observation, testing, sampling, and reporting on soils, aggregates, concrete, and related materials.

You will work with project management professionals, train Technician I/II staff, and participate in project meetings. Opportunities for professional development and certifications are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two advanced certifications applicable to CMT field as per ECS Technician Certification Policy.
• General industry OSHA 10 may be required.

Responsibilities

• Performs field observation, testing, sampling, and inspection of soils, aggregates, concrete, masonry, asphalt, structural steel, and related materials.
• Executes testing activities on projects of moderate complexity with minimal supervision.
• Communicates daily with contractors, technicians, and project managers.
• Reports changing site conditions and additional testing needs to supervisors.
• Prepares accurate and detailed daily field reports documenting site conditions and results.
• Performs calculations, data reduction, and documentation tasks.
• Maintains and organizes field equipment and testing materials.
• Assists in resolving field-related issues and supports project execution.
• Trains and mentors Technician I and Technician II staff in field procedures and documentation.
• Participates in project meetings with senior staff as requested.
• Performs other field and project support duties as assigned.
