Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert Co is looking for a Senior Field Technician based in Gonzales, Louisiana. In this role, you will inspect, test, and maintain electrical power equipment while leading safety briefings on-site.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in electrical testing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to perform thorough equipment troubleshooting. Benefits include competitive pay and medical, dental, and vision insurance.

Qualifications

• Able to climb ladders, stand for extended periods, able to lift 70 lbs.
• Must have a valid driver's license and maintain a good driving record.
• Satisfactory criminal background check required.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety briefings on job site.
• Perform High, Medium, and Low voltage testing of electrical power equipment.
• Troubleshoot, repair, replace, and clean equipment.

Skills

Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work overtime and travel

Education

Bachelors or Associates Degree in Electrical/Electronic technology

10+ Years Relevant Industry Experience

NETA I Certified, NETA IV Certified a plus
