Job summary

ECS Limited is seeking a Senior Field Technician I to join our Tulsa team. You will perform field observation, testing, sampling, and inspection of various materials, and collaborate with project managers to ensure quality and safety on site.

As you gain experience, ECS supports ongoing training and certification opportunities through organizations such as ACI, ASNT, AWS, ICC, NICET, NRCA, RCI and State DOTs, among others, to advance your professional development within the field services team.

Qualifications

• 2 years of related experience
• High school diploma or GED
• Maintain two advanced certifications applicable to the work performed per ECS Technician Certification Policy
• General OSHA 10 may be required

Responsibilities

• Performs field observation, testing, sampling, and inspection of soils, aggregates, concrete, masonry, asphalt, structural steel, and related materials
• Executes testing activities on projects of moderate complexity with minimal supervision
• Communicates daily with contractors, technicians, and project managers
• Reports changing site conditions and additional testing needs to supervisors
• Prepares accurate and detailed daily field reports documenting site conditions and results
• Performs calculations, data reduction, and documentation tasks
• Maintains and organizes field equipment and testing materials
• Assists in resolving field-related issues and supports project execution
• Trains and mentors Technician I and Technician II staff in field procedures and documentation
• Participates in project meetings with senior staff as requested
• Performs other field and project support duties as assigned
