Job summary

TTL is seeking a Senior Project Technician to ensure quality and integrity of construction projects in Atlanta, GA. You will monitor field activities, collect samples, and perform testing in accordance with ASTM/AASHTO standards, supporting project success.

You will maintain field notes, prepare clear reports, operate field equipment, and collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors. This role requires independence, attention to detail, and commitment to safety and professional

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in construction materials testing or inspection.
• Must hold a valid ACI Concrete Field Testing Level I certification and Nuclear Gauge Radiation Safety Training.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Field Monitoring and Testing: observe construction activities, collect samples, perform field density tests, inspections for compliance, provide technical input, perform specialty testing.
• Data Collection and Reporting: maintain field notes, prepare reports, log/analyze data.
• Equipment and Safety: operate/maintain testing equipment, follow safety protocols, maintain organized environment.
• Communication and Collaboration: communicate with project managers, engineers, contractors, provide updates, collaborate, build relationships, supervise and mentor technicians.
