Job summary

ECS Limited is seeking a Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Senior Field Technician for our College Park, GA team. The role focuses on observing, sampling, testing, and inspecting materials on construction sites, under experienced supervision.

You will develop field reports and maintain strong site communication. Requirements include 2+ years of experience, a High School diploma or GED, driver’s license, and certifications.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Must have and be willing to maintain current basic level certifications and an additional 2 advanced certifications.
• OSHA 10 is a plus.
• Position requires carrying 40 - 70 lbs multiple times a day or occasionally lifting 85 lbs to waist height.
• Must have valid driver's license and insurance.
• Must provide suitable transportation for use on job sites - Mileage will be reimbursed.
• Strong communication skills (speaking, reading, and writing).
• Excellent understanding of heavy construction safety, practices, and procedures.
• Ability to work effectively with clients, peers, and supervisors.
• Proficiency with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Observe, test, sample, and inspect soils, aggregates, concrete, grout, masonry, asphalt, and structural steel on site.
• Perform field tests following industry standards and testing equipment.
• Collect data, draft field reports documenting observations.
• Maintain daily communication with site contractors and project teams.
• Attend project meetings with senior staff as requested.
• Receive training in ECS methodology and document findings precisely.
