Job Summary

As a Senior Field Technician at Steri-Clean SLC, you will respond to biohazard, trauma, hoarding, and extreme cleaning scenes. You will be doing work that genuinely helps people through some of the hardest moments of their lives. You will work to safely clean, remediate, and restore residential and commercial properties, following strict safety protocols and company procedures from start to finish.

This is a physically demanding, emotionally mature role that rewards people who take pride in doing hard work well. If you have previous experience in cleaning, restoration, moving, or construction, you may be a good fit.

Schedule / Expected Work Hours

• Must be available Monday through Friday 7am to 7pm and occasionally on weekends

Responsibilities

• Communication
  • Able to reason and communicate with clients in explaining procedures, services, policies, etc.
  • Documenting site projects (photos and paperwork) for Project Manager
• Safety Manager
  • Preparing, performing and tracking monthly safety class
  • Keeping up to date on new safety laws
  • Making sure employees are following all safety measures
  • Making sure the warehouse is always in compliance
• Warehouse Manager
  • Assuring proper inventory levels at all times
  • Warehouse is kept in a highly organized functional state
  • Management is notified when e-waste, biohazard, and/or donations need to be picked up
• Vehicle Maintenance Manager
  • Notify Management when there is an issue with any vehicle
  • Monitor oil changes
  • Coordinate with upper management and mechanics to have vehicles worked on

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must live within 30 min. of the office for which you are applying
• Must have a valid STATE driver’s license with no more than one point; an MVR will be run
• Must be able to work in a respirator and full PPE for long periods
• Must be able to be on call some nights and weekends
• Must have reliable transportation to get to our office (work vehicles provided)
• Must have working cell phone

Strongly desired, but not needed: people with restoration, construction, or cleaning experience. Especially those with qualifying IICRC certifications.
