Loureiro Engineering Associates is seeking a Survey Crew Chief to lead our Land Survey team in Poughkeepsie, NY. You will guide field crews through boundary, topographic, ALTA, and construction surveys while ensuring data quality and safety.

The role requires extensive experience with GPS and Robotic Total Stations, plus proficiency in Carlson/AutoCAD. As a 100% ESOP company, ownership rewards collaboration and high performance.

Competenze

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in boundary and construction surveying.
• At least 5 years of experience managing a survey field crew.
• Proficiency with GPS equipment, Robotic Total Stations, and Carlson/AutoCAD software.
• Knowledge of professional surveying practices, procedures, and applicable regulations.

Mansioni

• Lead and manage a survey crew performing boundary, topographic, ALTA, right-of-way, and construction surveys.
• Operate and maintain survey equipment, including GPS and robotic total stations.
• Collect field data, perform calculations, and maintain accurate field notes and records.
• Coordinate with project teams, clients, and other staff to support project objectives.
• Direct, mentor, and develop crew members to support their growth within the surveying profession.
• Research deeds, easements, and survey records; maintain project files and indexing systems.
• Assist with office survey functions and mapping compliance activities as needed.
• Ensure work is performed safely and in accordance with company safety policies and procedures.
