Shaw Construction is seeking an experienced Field Superintendent to lead field construction on a complex, high-profile multifamily project in the Roaring Fork Valley area. This role requires sharp technical and people skills, coordinating with Owners, subcontractors, and the project team daily.

Housing support is provided; this position is based out of the Roaring Fork Valley. Salary $100,000–$130,000/year, plus bonus; relocation/housing support discussed individually.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree preferred; minimum 5 years in field superintendent roles on ground-up multifamily projects.
• Strong, hands-on experience with shoring and concrete excavation.
• Proven ability to manage stormwater compliance and safety programs.
• Excellent relationship-building with Owners, subcontractors and project stakeholders.
• Robust documentation and record-keeping for large, high-visibility projects.

Responsibilities

• Study contract documents and lead on-site Shaw team's execution of work.
• Review subcontractor scopes and coordinate with the Project Manager.
• Lead site planning, logistics, and build strategy, focusing on shoring and stormwater.
• Develop and manage the P6 CPM progress schedule.
• Establish and enforce the project safety and security program.
• Coordinate and check work of subcontractors, surveyors, and shoring contractors.
• Own the Quality Control program from prephase through close-out with a deficiency log.
• Maintain on-site document control for drawings, specs, submittals and As-Builts.
• Manage submittal and RFI process with PM/Project Engineer.
• Plan jobsite logistics including temporary utilities and material handling.
• Partner with Shaw Self-Perform on labor, equipment, budget, and stormwater compliance.
• Build strong relationships with Owner, subcontractors, inspection agencies and project team.
• Handle project documentation and reporting through close-out.
• Mentor Field Superintendents and Engineers on the team.
