Job summary

Kelso Industries is seeking a Superintendent to lead mechanical construction projects, including HVAC, plumbing, piping, and industrial systems. You will oversee field personnel, subcontractors, and safety programs while coordinating with Project Managers and BIM/VDC teams to ensure on-time, high-quality execution.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of field experience, strong leadership, and the ability to read drawings and specifications.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of field experience in mechanical contracting.
• Experience as Foreman or Superintendent on commercial or industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and installation practices.
• Ability to read blueprints and project documents.
• Willingness to promote safety and OSHA compliance.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee daily field operations on assigned project.
• Supervise Foremen, field employees, subcontractors, and trade partners.
• Coordinate daily work activities to meet schedules and productivity goals.
• Ensure labor, equipment, and materials are effectively utilized.
• Monitor project progress and communicate schedule updates to the Project Manager.
• Resolve day-to-day installation challenges and field conflicts.
• Collaborate with PM, Fabrication, BIM/VDC, and office staff for execution.
• Participate in planning, turnover meetings, and coordination meetings.
