Job summary

Diverzify+ is seeking a Field Superintendent to lead commercial flooring projects from pre-installation planning through final completion. You will partner with customers, sales, project managers and installation crews to coordinate and oversee successful project execution, proactively resolving challenges and ensuring outstanding service at every step.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• OSHA 30 Certification or ability to obtain.
• Minimum 5 years of experience supervising commercial tile/flooring projects.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret written reports, project documentation, and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Manage large-scale construction projects with multiple installation crews, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards.
• Inspect substrates, existing flooring, and wall surfaces to determine suitability for installation, including moisture and alkaline testing, compatibility of existing flooring and residues, and identification of conditions that may impact installation quality.
• Verify job site readiness, including climate control, lighting, site accessibility, parking, loading docks, elevators, and material storage areas.
• Conduct pre-installation and ongoing job site visits to proactively identify, communicate, and resolve potential issues before they impact project execution.
• Serve as the primary on-site liaison between customers, installers, and project teams, addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and maintaining strong communication throughout the project lifecycle.
