Job summary

LEMOINE, a Great Place to Work-Certified company, is seeking an experienced Superintendent for the Matrix Building Systems self-performance division in the Lafayette, LA area. The role oversees field operations, safety, schedule, quality, and coordination with trade contractors to minimize risk.

You will work with the project team to ensure successful execution, review plans, support management with procurement and scheduling, and manage interior and exterior system installations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5–10+ years in field supervision for commercial GC or subcontractor.
• Strong knowledge of project planning and scheduling.
• Knowledge of commercial construction practices.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and scheduling software.
• Strong math, teamwork, and communication skills.
• Strong reasoning and comprehension skills.

Responsibilities

• Review plans and generate RFIs as needed.
• Support project management with procurement, scheduling, costing, and coordination.
• Maintain relationships with Trade Partners to support success.
• Perform quantity take-offs and assist with estimating scope packages.
• Provide detailed estimates and support bid preparation.
• Manage and inspect installation of interior scopes (drywall, acoustical ceilings, doors, etc.).
• Oversee exterior system installations (framing, building envelope, cladding).
