Job summary

Setpoint-Integrated in Port Arthur, TX is seeking a Field Service Technician PRV II to uphold ValvKeep and Quality Standardization Procedures during valve repair and testing. You will learn to identify contaminated valves using SDS and recognize missing parts with support from BH Green Tag Channel Connect.

Gain introductory knowledge of shop equipment, perform PMI, calibrate gauges, assemble and test valves, and participate in manufacturer training as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires HS Education or GED; plus 2–5 years of industry experience.
• Completed Green Tag Certification through Level II is required.
• Must demonstrate ability to assemble and test various pressure relief valve equipment.
• Demonstrates proficiency with precision dimensional equipment and calibration procedures.

Responsibilities

• Locate, use, and understand manufacturer installation and operation manuals.
• Perform inspection to identify corrective actions as authorized.
• Perform PMI (Positive Material Identification) as qualified.
• Assemble, test, and troubleshoot valves and related equipment per standards.
• Install instrumentation/accessories as necessary and calibrate measurement equipment.
• Support and mentor other Field Service Technicians; may lead in area.
