Enerflex Ltd. in Wyoming seeks a Sr. Field Service Technician to maintain gas compression packages in the field.
You will inspect, diagnose, repair, install, and commission equipment, working with both gas-fired and electric-driven compressors in customer facilities. This role requires leading and training junior technicians, providing accurate field reports, and coordinating with customers to meet project goals.
The Sr. Field Service Technician is responsible for conducting maintenance functions, procedures, activities, and duties related to gas compression packages. Responsibilities include assisting fellow technicians with preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, installing, and commissioning both gas-fired and electric-driven compressor packages. The objective of the Sr. Field Service Technician is to gain proficiency in carrying out advanced maintenance, new equipment installation, and overhaul tasks with minimal supervision.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk for long periods of time, stoop, squat, bend, and kneel. Lifting requirements will vary and may weigh up to 75 pounds on an infrequent basis and 35 pounds on a regular basis. Pushing and pulling valves, climbing stairs and ladders on a regular basis.
Environmental factors include heat and humidity and onsite locations could be cold, rainy and muddy. A hard hat, safety glasses and ear plugs may be worn for 3 hours at a time and steel toe all day.
