Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Field Service Engineer to perform integration, test, installation and customer support for Recon systems. The role may require up to 30 days of travel and involves coordinating with customers on technical matters and with program management for problem resolution.

Qualifications include 2 years of troubleshooting experience and a 2-year technical degree or 4 years of related military experience. The position is based in Clifton, NJ with a 9/80 schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience troubleshooting equipment.
• Reading RF/electronic and mechanical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform repair, integration and testing per procedures for Recon LRU’s and Systems.
• Field install Recon systems at CONUS/OCONUS customer sites.
• Set up RF test equipment and demonstrate proper function or analyze malfunctions.
• Consult with other Field Engineers to plan layout and resolve problems.
• Complete installation and testing in various settings, including military environments.
