Job summary

Scientific Research Corporation seeks engineers to install, integrate, and test shipboard systems for Navy platforms, including surface combatants and related shore installations.

Candidates must hold TS/SCI clearance, or be able to obtain it within six months, and be a US citizen. Travel up to 30% is required; work is performed on-site at client locations, with strong focus on documentation and coordination.

Qualifications

• Experience executing the assembly, integration, and testing of ship-specific system hardware and cable runs.
• Working knowledge of RF spectrum with calibration/testing equipment and basic antenna troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication and writing skills; ability to coordinate with stakeholders and fleet customers.

Responsibilities

• Execute the assembly, integration, and testing of ship-specific system hardware and cabling during new installations or upgrades.
• Plan and coordinate installation activities for US Navy surface ships and shore sites with agility and documentation.
• Communicate with stakeholders and fleet customers in person and electronically; generate daily reports.
• Travel up to 30% for site surveys and installations.
• Represent U.S. Government in high-visibility tasks on ships in port.
• Document support needs via daily reporting and Jira usage.
• Redline drawings as needed and capture as-built configuration during installation.
• Travel required for site surveys and installations.
