Job summary

Trescal Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to calibrate electronic, mechanical, and electromechanical instruments for conformance to standards. The role is primarily field-based with some in-lab duties in Palo Alto, CA.

The ideal candidate has an Associate degree in Electronics or related field, 3–5 years of lab experience, and strong communication skills. Travel is mostly local with some overnight stays; clean driving record required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Electronics or related technical field.
• 3–5 years of commercial/military lab experience or equivalent.
• Experience calibrating test and measurement equipment across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Perform calibrations on high-level and unique test and measurement instrumentation.
• Calibrations on-site at customer locations or in-lab calibration facility.
• Interact with customers to determine traceability and standard procedures requirements.
• Travel mostly local with occasional overnight stays.
• All other duties as assigned.
