Job summary

Talent Edge Recruiting partners with a construction firm to hire a Senior Safety Coordinator. This field role supports safety across commercial and heavy civil projects, reporting to the Safety Director and working directly with crews on active sites.

The ideal candidate has 1–2+ years of construction safety experience, OSHA knowledge, and strong communication skills. Travel between locations and occasional evenings/weekends are required.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years of construction safety experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of OSHA/MOSHA regulations and construction safety standards.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 training/credentials; OSHA 30 strongly preferred.
• First Aid/CPR certification required.
• Knowledge of fall protection and equipment safety.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular field safety inspections and hazard assessments on active projects.
• Partner with Safety Director to implement and improve safety programs.
• Identify unsafe conditions and follow through with corrective actions.
• Monitor OSHA/MOSHA compliance across sites.
• Lead toolbox talks and employee safety training.
• Travel between multiple project locations and support evening/weekend operations if needed.
