Job summary

DASNY is seeking a Senior Field Representative to oversee complex construction projects in Brooklyn, NY. The role requires independent judgment, ensures contract compliance, and coordinates multi-trade activities from bidding through project closeout.

Ideal candidate will have a degree with supervisory experience and strong knowledge of construction management, budgets, and schedules. Travel to project sites and client liaison duties are involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience and 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Associate’s degree with 5 years of experience as a DASNY Field Representative and 2 years supervisory experience.
• Associate's degree with 12 years relevant experience and 2 years supervisory experience.
• High school diploma with 7 years’ experience as a DASNY Field Representative and 2 years supervisory experience.
• High school diploma with 15 years relevant experience and 2 years supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor construction, testing, and operation of building systems to ensure compliance with construction documents.
• Coordinate the work of all trades and read/interpret contract plans and specifications.
• Review bid ads, bidder qualifications, and recommend construction contract awards.
• Schedule, supervise testing and commissioning, monitor results, and report to Project Manager.
