Job summary

Solaris Energy Infrastructure, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to support the execution of power and infrastructure projects through construction, commissioning, and closeout.

This role provides field-focused engineering support, resolves technical issues, coordinates across teams and vendors, and ensures that design intent is successfully implemented. Responsibilities include interpreting drawings, field verifications, commissioning support, and maintaining design documents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field) preferred but not required.
• 2–6 years of relevant experience supporting infrastructure or industrial projects.
• Experience working in EPC project environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support during construction and installation activities.
• Interpret drawings and resolve technical issues raised by field teams.
• Perform field verifications for equipment placement, piping routing, and layout accuracy.
• Support commissioning teams with startup procedures, system checks, and troubleshooting.
• Maintain up-to-date design documents and drawing sets.
• Track and document Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and ensure alignment across teams.
• Coordinate with suppliers and OEMs on technical clarifications and integration of major equipment, including gas turbines.
