Qualifications
5+ years of construction inspection experience for transportation, water, or utility projects.
Basic knowledge of quality requirements for construction materials.
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and standards.
Responsibilities
Inspect construction work and document conformity to standards.
Complete records of field observations and daily reports.
Perform material sampling and testing on applicable materials.
Prepare monthly pay applications and change orders.
Assist project management staff in problem identification.
Manage construction supervisors and inspection staff.
Review construction documents for constructability issues.
Facilitate responses to RFIs from contractors.
Represent the firm at meetings and prepare minutes.
Willingness to work outdoors in extreme temperatures.
