Job summary

Clean Harbors, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Auburn, ME to lead large remediation and environmental construction projects.

You will coordinate with sales and operations teams, manage client relations, and drive profitable project execution across national and international sites. The role requires strong PM experience, field interaction, and a focus on safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Background in field services, remediation with project management and in-field performance experience.
• Proficient with computers and smartphones, web navigation, MS Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in environmental science, engineering, geology, or offsetting field experience.
• Minimum 5+ years of project management experience with direct customer and field interaction.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with various teams, supporting customer goals.
• Effective communication skills, organizational abilities, and deadline management.
• Always maintain honesty and integrity.
• Valid DL and clean MVR.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to support growth in remediation programs.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations to identify new business opportunities.
• Participate in site walks and drive remedial designs with national/local teams.
• Track financial health of projects and ensure safe production.
• Incorporate customer feedback into product development and services.
• Monitor customer relationships and satisfaction; address issues.
• Provide regular reports to senior management on growth programs.
• Guide proposals and bidding strategies to improve win rates.
• Travel to visit customers, sites, and crews districtwide/nationally.
• Provide guidance to operations teams to improve outcomes.
• Understand profitability and implement corrective actions when needed.
