Job summary

Bechtel is leading a major semiconductor plant project in New Albany, Ohio. You will supervise subcontractor planning, safety, quality and technical activities, coordinating with multiple stakeholders to align with established schedules.

You will ensure safe work methods, manage staffing and budgets, and drive quality and constructability improvements on a complex, high-impact project for Bechtel.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience with EPC/EPCM construction programmes, technologies, means and methods.
• Demonstrated ES&H commitment and a Zero Accident safety programme.
• Extensive experience in construction management of EPC projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee job-site operations and manage Bechtel, subcontractors, suppliers, clients and reps within area of responsibility.
• Approve temporary construction facilities layout and ensure craft worker safety per Zero Accidents program.
• Assist in staffing plan and monitor performance against budget and schedule.
• Ensure work quality meets requirements and review designs for constructability improvements.
• Assist in plan for system and area turnovers coordinating all craft disciplines.
• Monitor quantity reporting and progress.
• Ensure field organization has qualified personnel and effective utilization.
• Maintain appropriate foreman/worker ratios on site.
• Ensure project automation tools are used for craftwork.
• Establish and coordinate schedules, resource charts, and equipment needs.
• Meet project cost and schedule targets and control expenditures.
• Monitor equipment utilization and maintenance.
