Job summary

Bestway Services in Nashville, TN seeks an experienced Operations Manager to lead day-to-day operations across multiple commercial janitorial contracts and field teams.

This hands-on leadership role requires staffing, quality control, and regular field presence, with travel about 50% and occasional after-hours support.

You will partner with Executive Leadership to drive performance, ensure OSHA compliance, and support onboarding for new service locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of operations leadership in commercial janitorial or related services.
• Experience supervising multiple locations and operational teams.
• Knowledge of floor care programs, equipment, chemicals, QA, and best practices.
• Experience with OSHA standards and operating compliance.
• Ability to travel across service areas with a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations across multiple contracts and client locations.
• Provide leadership and accountability to project managers and field staff.
• Monitor staffing continuity, service quality, and KPIs.
• Conduct site visits and quality assurance follow-ups to ensure contract compliance.
• Respond to customer concerns and operational challenges.
• Support onboarding, transitions, and readiness for new service locations.
• Maintain schedule flexibility for after-hours needs and travel.
