This role requires coordinating planning, engineering, scheduling, and bidding activities, maintaining strong contractor relations, and achieving profitability targets.

Reports to the Vice President Managing Director with direct foreman oversight and growth

Qualifications

• 10 years experience in bridge and concrete structure erection with hands-on field site leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree Civil or Structural Engineering, with management study preferred.
• Professional Engineer license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and direct implementation of short- and long-term Field Operations strategies.
• Direct sales research to identify market conditions and opportunities to grow market share and profitability.
• Coordinate with Planning, Engineering and Scheduling for safe, efficient project erection.
• Direct development and review of engineering drawings for bridge and concrete structures.
• Estimate and bid rehabilitation/new steel projects with VP Managing Director approval.
• Ensure payroll, salary, and insurance conformity for projects.
• Plan manpower with Field Operation personnel and Foremen weekly.
• Direct communications with contractors on requirements, procedures, and schedules.
