Job summary

Rhythm Pharmaceuticals Inc. is seeking a Sr. Manager, Field Medical to serve as a scientific partner to external experts across the PA, upstate NY, and WV region, based in Pittsburgh or Philadelphia.

You will lead engagement plans and support Rhythm’s medical strategy through evidence-based exchanges. The role requires advanced scientific credentials, 6+ years in pharma, and travel of 50–75%. A discretionary annual bonus may be available and compensation ranges from $135,000 to $215,000

Qualifications

• Advanced scientific or clinical degree strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 6 years in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or related industry.
• Understanding of healthcare systems and patient care pathways.
• Strong knowledge of GCP, ICH, PhRMA Code, OIG guidance, and company policies.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building with external stakeholders.
• Ability to travel 50–75%.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted scientific partner delivering evidence-based exchange that advances Rhythm’s research value.
• Develop and execute strategic engagement plans with KOLs and HCPs.
• Communicate actionable medical insights to inform medical strategy and decisions.
• Identify investigators and support research collaborations and trials.
• Collaborate cross-functionally on local, regional, and national initiatives.
• Address unsolicited medical information requests with accuracy and compliance.
• Travel 50–75% and support field medical activities.
