General Description:

The Field Market Access Manager/Senior Manager Italy will be responsible for ensuring and optimizing access to BeiGene’s pipeline at a regional level, building strategic relationships, and engaging with regional payers/payer organizations and their influencers.

This individual is a field-based employee with extensive market access experience, responsible for project development, budget control, and presenting value evidence tools to payers and budgetary decision-makers at the regional level. The role aims to shape a favorable environment for our products through effective communication with payers at regional and local levels, aligned with local country business needs.

Region:

Lombardy-Piedmont-Liguria-Valle D’Aosta and Sardinia. Residence: Lombardy.

Essential Functions of the Job:
  • Define and implement Market Access strategies to ensure access to BeiGene’s products at regional and hospital levels by demonstrating their therapeutic, economic, and societal value, leveraging deep knowledge of the regional environment.
  • Manage relationships with Regional Health Administration decision-makers, evaluators, influencers, and hospital management, medical directions, and pharmacy, impacting pharmaceutical policy development and product positioning.
  • Introduce BeiGene’s products at regional and hospital levels.
  • Lead negotiations at central and hospital levels for tenders, negotiated procedures, and offers with purchasing centers and regional agreements.
  • Guide the development of pharmaco-economic data, cost-effectiveness, and budget impact models tailored to stakeholders’ needs.
  • Establish relationships with key stakeholders such as Regional Health Authorities, Medical Societies, Scientific Institutions, Payers, and Patient Advocacy groups.
  • Communicate changes and trends in local health policy and competitor activities to the cross-functional team.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, policies, procedures, standards, and codes of conduct.
Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, engaging with Regional Health Administrations and local organizations.
  • In-depth knowledge of the national and regional health systems.
  • Leadership in managing relationships with key stakeholders within health organizations.
  • Strong scientific knowledge to defend and articulate the clinical value of therapeutic areas.
  • Successful experience in drug launches at regional and hospital levels.
  • Experience negotiating drug pricing and reimbursement with public health authorities.
  • Strategic thinking and holistic vision.
  • Persuasive communication and high-level presentation skills.
  • Languages: Native Italian and proficiency in English.
Education:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science or Business.

Computer Skills:

Standard computer skills required.

Travel:

Approximately 75% of the time.
