Job summary

SCI Summit Consulting, LLC is a field-based risk management role located in the northwest Georgia area, with regular travel to service workers’ compensation policyholders across Georgia. The position emphasizes on-site risk assessments, client consultations, and loss prevention program design tailored to client needs.

Qualified candidates have a Bachelor’s in Risk Management or Safety Engineering and 13+ years in loss control or risk management, with CSP/ARM/CFPS or similar designations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in risk management, safety, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 13 years of experience in loss control or risk management within property & casualty.
• Professional designations preferred (e.g., CSP, ARM, CFPS, CSHMS, ALCM, OHST).

Responsibilities

• Leads complex risk assessments for insured properties and operations to inform underwriting decisions.
• Identifies potential risk exposures and formulates strategic recommendations to mitigate identified risks.
• Interprets and analyzes loss data to identify patterns and designs loss prevention programs.
• Provides technical guidance and conducts training for clients on safety practices and regulatory compliance.
• Monitors effectiveness of loss control measures and adjusts strategies to improve outcomes.
• May coach staff and participate in talent decisions for direct reports.
