Job summary

Micron Technology seeks an experienced Field Superintendent to lead and oversee Facilities construction, maintenance, and tool-install work at Fab 6. You will coordinate with Facilities Operations, Engineering, and contractors to ensure safety, quality, and on-time execution in a semiconductor manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities include daily field leadership, coordinating labor and equipment, maintaining field reports, ensuring readiness, and escalating issues to project owners as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of industrial construction experience, preferably semiconductor or manufacturing.
• Experience coordinating multiple contractors and trades in congested facilities.
• Knowledge of construction safety, QA/QC, scheduling, and change management.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specs, and project-controls information.
• Strong communication, analytical, decision-making, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily field leadership across active facilities construction and contractor workfronts.
• Coordinate labor, material staging, access, and trade sequencing with multiple stakeholders.
• Maintain field reports covering progress, constraints, quality, and schedule risks.
• Validate workfront readiness, permits, and supervision coverage before work releases.
• Escalate RFIs, design conflicts, and material shortages to Micron owners as needed.
• Mentor team members and drive safe, compliant execution in a semiconductor environment.
