Job summary

Ethos Risk Services seeks an Experienced Field Investigator to conduct surveillance and investigate potential fraudulent insurance claims. You will perform stationary and mobile surveillance, gather video and photographic evidence, and prepare thorough reports for clients.

In this role, you will review case information, work with a field supervisor, and manage notes and footage through a company laptop and reliable internet. Travel and long hours in a vehicle are common.

Qualifications

• Experience conducting covert surveillance and producing organized investigative reports.
• Valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
• A reliable personal vehicle, preferably with tinted windows.
• Handheld camcorder with zoom and covert camera device.
• A laptop, cell phone, and internet for admin tasks.
• Active Private Investigator license or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Case Preparation: Review preliminary reports and case information.
• Field Surveillance: Perform covert surveillance from vehicle to capture video evidence.
• Report Writing: Draft detailed, court-ready investigations.
• Documentation: Submit case reports and upload video footage daily.
• Communication: Collaborate with field supervisor and operations teams.
