Job summary

Ethos Risk Services is seeking an Experienced Field Investigator to conduct surveillance and investigative activities to identify potential fraudulent insurance claims. This role involves stationary and mobile surveillance, obtaining video and photographic evidence, and preparing thorough, detailed reports for clients.

You will work independently, coordinate with a field supervisor, and travel within the region as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in covert surveillance and producing organized investigative reports.
• Valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
• Reliable personal vehicle, preferably with tinted windows.
• Handheld camcorder with zoom and covert camera; stabilization gear encouraged.
• Reliable laptop, phone, and internet for admin tasks.
• Active Private Investigator license or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Case Preparation: Review preliminary reports and case information before surveillance.
• Field Surveillance: Perform covert surveillance from your vehicle, capturing high-quality video evidence.
• Report Writing: Draft thorough, court-ready investigative reports summarizing activity and findings.
• Documentation: Finalize case file by uploading video footage and reports at day end.
