Job summary
NOVA Engineering and Environmental, LLC is seeking a Senior Engineering Technician (Special Inspector) in Tallahassee, FL. The ideal candidate will perform field materials testing and structural inspections, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

Qualifications
- Required ACI Level I Concrete Field Testing certification.
- Preferred ICC Reinforced Concrete and/or Soils certifications.
- High preference for Post-Tensioning Level I certification.
Responsibilities
- Perform field materials testing of soil, concrete, and asphalt.
- Conduct structural inspections for rebar, masonry, post-tensioning, and foundations.
- Prepare detailed field reports with test results.
- Perform laboratory tests on soil and concrete and prepare reports.
- Evaluate site and subgrade conditions on construction projects.
- Communicate with clients and contractors regarding construction issues.
