Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Senior Technician to lead fresh-concrete testing and IBC-based special inspection on structural projects in the Charleston area. You will mentor junior technicians and own the quality and defensibility of the project record on high-stakes placements.

You will coordinate daily with superintendents, engineers, and building officials, travel for defined programs, and advance toward leadership roles across multi-state deployments while maintaining strict

Qualifications

• 3+ years CMT or special inspection experience.
• ICC Reinforced Concrete or Soils, NICET Level II+, or ACI certifications.
• Comfort owning the testing record on major placements.
• Willing to travel for defined project programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead fresh-concrete testing and special inspection on structural work.
• Perform and document inspections per project IBC special inspection programs.
• Mentor and check junior field technicians.
