GEICO is seeking a Senior Field Security Investigator to lead investigations of suspected fraud and other illegal activities. You will interview, take statements, and locate sources of information and witnesses, while coordinating with outside agencies and supporting claims handling.

The role requires evaluating information for credibility and training others in the department. A strong professional demeanor, organization, and driving are essential components of the job.

Formación

• An associate or bachelor’s degree in criminal justice or a related field, or
• Five years of insurance claims investigative experience or related law enforcement experience
• Seven years of professional investigation experience in economic or insurance matters
• Experience handling statements from various parties to gather information
• Ability to gather evidence and draw conclusions from investigations
• Organizational skills to manage workloads and stresses

Responsabilidades

• Conduct investigations of suspected fraud or other illegal activities against GEICO
• Interview, take statements, and locate witnesses and sources of information
• Coordinate with outside agencies and refer assignments as needed
• Provide training and support to departments in claims handling processes
