Job summary

Oceaneering is seeking a Project Field Services Specialist for an on-site role in Hanover, MD. You will provide on-site technical support for testing, assembly, installation, preventive and corrective maintenance of Oceaneering Technologies equipment.

Travel up to 20% domestically and overseas is required. The role requires 5–9 years of field operations experience with SSW electro-mechanical systems and a current Top Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• 5–9 years of field operations experience with SSW electro-mechanical systems, including hydraulics, propulsion, manipulator, fiber optic, navigation, and subsea environmental sensing equipment.
• Professional knowledge of applicable engineering concepts and familiarity with related fields.
• Ability to read and understand engineering schematics/drawings.
• Current Top Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Install, operate, test, and maintain electro-mechanical equipment and systems with minimal supervision.
• Interface with assembly and manufacturing to influence system design early on.
• Assist in cost estimates and design documentation.
