Job summary

Kiewit in Lone Tree, CO is seeking a Field Engineer (Mid to Senior) for its Heavy Civil Central division to support highway, bridge, rail and water/wastewater projects across the Central United States. You will assist with drawings interpretation, work planning, field surveying, daily reporting and safety coordination on active sites.

This full-time role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Construction Engineering, willingness to travel, and strong communication in a team

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Construction Engineering.
• Willingness to travel and work at project sites across Central US.
• Strong communication and teamwork on heavy civil projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist interpretation of drawings and specifications for field crews.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and assist in work planning and packages.
• Support field surveying, layout, and data collection.
• Assist in daily labor timekeeping and project reporting.
• Contribute to Job Hazard Analyses and safety reviews.
• Coordinate material deliveries and schedule on-site activities.
• Support engineers with submittals and data preparation.
• Participate in cost tracking and change-order processes.
