Job summary

L3Harris Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Specialist, Field Engineering to install, diagnose, and repair complex equipment at customer sites.

The role requires coordinating with engineering and customer teams, supporting frequent deployments, and maintaining secure access to government facilities as needed. Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree (or higher) with 6+ years of related experience, or a graduate degree with 4+ years, plus a current Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher; 6+ years relevant experience, or graduate degree with 4+ years experience; or 10 years experience in lieu of degree.
• Must have at least a Secret clearance and be eligible for access to government facilities.
• Active or current Secret or higher US security clearance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, operate, maintain, repair and modify equipment at customer locations.
• Perform preventive maintenance and diagnostics to minimize downtime.
• Develop, implement or modify test plans to isolate anomalies and extend equipment operation.
• Interpret sketches, schematics, wiring diagrams and blueprints to support field tasks.
• Maintain logs and communicate with customers and engineering to resolve issues.
