Job summary

Clark Construction Group is seeking a Senior Field Engineer to oversee technical functions, testing equipment, site inspections and coordination with clients on complex projects in Atlanta, GA. The role emphasizes precision, safety and adherence to Clark Standards of Excellence.

You will establish horizontal and vertical control, interpret drawings, compute quantities, manage field data, and ensure alignment with project schedules and quality requirements on active construction sites.

Qualifications

• Ability to read structural/shop drawings and extract critical information.
• Layout footings, columns, and building lines with minimal guidance.
• Establish vertical and horizontal control and coordinate between drawings to avoid conflicts.
• Compute concrete quantities for daily pours, slabs, columns, etc.

Responsibilities

• Establish project Horizontal Control and verify accuracy of consultant-provided control.
• Establish working control points from provided control and continuously check horizontal control.
• Establish project Vertical Control and verify accuracy of consultant-provided control.
• Establish working benchmarks and continuously check vertical control.
• Instrument care, maintenance, and use including optical plummet and calibration of total stations.

As a Senior Field Engineer you will be responsible and tasked with managing technical functions, testing equipment, handling repairs, managing engineering projects, and conducting site inspections.
