Job summary

CEU Carbon Engineering ULC is seeking a field-based Electrical Engineer to provide support for power distribution equipment, including transformers and substations. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 8 years’ experience, with at least 5 years in the field.

This role requires strong analytical skills, communication abilities, and expertise in commissioning electrical projects. The position involves significant travel and offers a competitive salary of $117,600 – $161,700 annually.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in electrical engineering.
• At least 5 years of direct field experience.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive electrical engineering support across various power distribution equipment.
• Collaborate in the design phase for minor and major projects.
• Develop and validate protective relay programs and perform testing.
• Manage factory acceptance testing for electrical apparatus.
