Job summary

Brindley Engineering Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented electrical engineer to conduct field evaluations of power distribution systems. The role involves reviewing, analyzing, and designing for new or rehabilitated infrastructure, with emphasis on safety and constructability. You will lead field evaluations, develop calculations and repair specifications, and participate in client meetings.

Requirements include a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, 8+ years of experience, and preferred P.E.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in electrical power distribution design/evaluation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience leading small teams and collaborating across disciplines.
• Knowledge of electrical engineering codes; arc flash knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead field and technical evaluations of existing electrical power distribution systems.
• Develop calculations, repair drawings, and repair/replacement recommendations, specifications, and scope of work packages.
• Attend client technical meetings and field walk-downs.
• Provide technical support for field execution, including outage/turnaround projects.
• Develop constructability planning, proposals, and estimate development.
• Power distribution (medium and low voltage) for industrial plants.
