Job summary

Brindley Engineering is seeking a detail-oriented electrical engineer for field evaluations of power distribution systems. The role focuses on analysis, calculations, and design for new or rehabilitated infrastructure to support industrial projects.

You will assist in field execution, cost estimates, and provide technical support across client and contractor interfaces. Strong communication and mentoring abilities are essential for team leadership.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering required.
0–2 years experience typical.
E.I.T. licensure preferred.
Knowledge of electrical codes and arc flash preferred.
Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
Experience mentoring and leading teams.

Responsibilities

Assist with field evaluations of existing electrical power distribution systems.
Develop calculations, repair drawings, and repair/replacement recommendations, specifications, and scope of work packages.
Participate in client and contractor interface, attend meetings, and oversee written reports.
Provide technical support for field execution, including outage/turnaround projects.
Assist in constructability planning, proposal, and estimate development.
Power distribution (medium and low voltage) for industrial plants.
