Job summary

EDG Inc. is seeking a Senior Field Construction Supervisor (Oversight Role) in Savannah to oversee field construction activities through commissioning.

The role reports to the Utility Construction Manager and involves managing outages, safety compliance, and site coordination across multiple projects. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in Electric Utility construction, strong leadership, and the ability to develop construction plans, schedules, and QA/QC processes.

Qualifications

• Requires 10–15 years of Electric Utility Transmission or Distribution experience.
• Must be knowledgeable about OSHA regulations and provide guidance on their proper application in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Participate in developing project scope, cost estimates, and schedules.
• Conduct on-site field visits and support detailed construction planning.
• Ensure safety training compliance and environmental considerations are addressed.
• Coordinate with environmental groups and contractors on permits, spills, and storm water management.
• Log construction progress and maintain as-built documentation.
