EDG Inc. seeks a Sr. Field Construction Supervisor for the Electric Grid Services group in the Atlanta area.

The role oversees construction activities from initiation to commissioning, coordinating with teams, vendors, and environmental groups, while ensuring safety compliance and schedule adherence. The position is casual, non-exempt, part-time, and may involve multiple sites around Atlanta. Strong field leadership and utility construction experience are essential to drive successful project

Qualifications

• Requires ten to fifteen years’ experience in the Electric Utility Transmission or Distribution.
• Must be knowledgeable and interpret OSHA regulations and guide construction crews and management on proper application.

Responsibilities

• Participate as a member of project teams to assist in development of project scope, cost estimate, and schedule.
• Participate on on-site field visits and reviews of scope.
• Assist in developing schedules including critical paths and outages.
• Develop construction plans and identify outage requirements to implement new facilities.
• Assist in preparing bid packages and participate in vendor selection and pre-bid meetings.
• Contribute to design constructability reviews and detailed construction plans.
• Coordinate with survey and soil crews as needed.
• Ensure permits from ROW and environmental groups are in place before start.
• Oversee safety training compliance and tailboard/JSA processes.
• Monitor progress, quality, and maintainability of project deliverables.
