Job summary

You will work with cross-functional teams and attend pre-construction meetings. The position requires a High School Diploma, 7+ years of inspection experience, Kentucky Grade & Drain Inspector certifications, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (Required).
• 7+ years of post-education experience in discipline with prior construction inspection experience.
• Kentucky Certifications for Grade & Drain Inspector.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Excellent construction inspection principles, field practices, process, methods, and techniques.
• Knowledge of relevant construction codes, regulations, compliance practices, and record-keeping requirements.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Collect, compile, and analyze site data and drawings for field inspection activities.
• Perform inspections with survey instruments and test equipment for basic to moderate complexity projects.
• Provide technical assistance ensuring proper inspection and construction according to standards.
• Verify load calculations, change orders, and interpretation of plans; escalate issues as needed.
• Monitor phasing and contractor work to ensure quality control and contract compliance; document progress.
