Job summary

DIHO Consulting USA in Odessa, TX seeks a Senior Construction Materials Testing Technician to perform field testing of soils, concrete, asphalt, and pile monitoring. Training will be provided, and you can pursue certification through our program.

You will support field operations, maintain safety standards, and produce detailed reports for project teams. On-site role requires travel to job sites and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in construction or construction materials testing.
• Must have dependable transportation; truck preferred.
• Able to pass a DISA drug screen.
• Able to pass a background check.
• TWIC card preferred.
• Physically capable of lifting heavy materials and equipment.
• Capable of maintaining an on-call schedule and willing to work obscure hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform field tests including concrete testing (slump, air content, temperature, unit weight, and cylinder casting).
• Conduct soil compaction testing using sand cone or nuclear density gauge.
• Perform Proctor, Atterberg limits, sieve analysis and other soil tests.
• Perform asphalt density testing and pavement core sampling.
• Monitor piles during installation documenting capacity, penetration, and blow counts.
• Produce timely and detailed reports.
• Operate vehicle safely and follow safety procedures at all times.
• Follow company procedures and protocols.
• Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organization.
• Build positive relationships with clients.
• Arrive on the job site on time and communicate with dispatch and onsite clients daily.
