Job summary

May Mobility is seeking a Senior Autonomy Engineer to support new fleet deployments and act as the on-site specialist for autonomy systems. You will work across hardware and software stacks, travel to deployment sites, and demonstrate capabilities to customers.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years of relevant experience, strong programming in C/C++/Python, and hands-on hardware/software integration skills. Must be able to travel up to 50% and operate May Mobility vehicles.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science, Robotics or related field.
7+ years of relevant experience.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Hands-on hardware design or software development experience.
Willingness to travel up to 50%.
Experience with Linux environments and programming languages.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate the launch of new site deployments of autonomous vehicle services.
Configure and deploy autonomous tech in new locations.
Travel up to 50% to customer sites and demonstrations.
Mentor junior Field Autonomy Engineers and collaborate cross-functionally.
