Job summary

Infineon Technologies in Austin seeks a Senior Staff FAE to drive design-in activities for Tier 1 hyperscale customers, promoting digital power management and 48V power delivery solutions. You will design DC/DC power for AI processors, CPUs, GPUs, and ASICs with analysis, simulation, and validation.

The role emphasizes system design, PCB layout, and board bring-up, with extensive customer collaboration and an incentive plan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years in power electronics, LV DC/DC conversion.
• Hands-on DC-DC validation, load transient tools, and network analyzers.
• Experience with Python for test automation.
• Strong system design, schematic capture, PCB layout and debugging.

Responsibilities

• Drive pre- and post-design-in activities for Tier 1 customers, promoting power management products.
• Design-in and optimize DC/DC power solutions for AI processors, CPUs, GPUs, ASICs with power analysis and simulation.
• Create system-level block diagrams and align with customer needs and roadmaps.
• Support schematic and PCB reviews, board bring-up, system validation and debugging.
• Develop 48V bus conversion expertise and vertical power delivery for hyperscale architectures.
• Provide technical support and training on power management products, tools, and GUI software.
