The Sr. Field Applications Specialist (FAS) is responsible for the validation of new Chemistry and Immunoassay instrument installations to ensure they meet Beckman Coulter and customer stated requirements. This position is located in Mississippi/Alabama/Louisiana area and will be fully remote. Our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare customer for and complete validation studies on instrumentation including instrument set-up, calibration, precision studies, and method comparisons.
  • Provide onsite and remote phone support to customers for assay and QC related questions and provide onsite training for proper operation of instrumentation.
  • Provide onsite training for proper operation of instrumentation.
Qualifications
  • Associate's degree with a minimum of 3+ years in a laboratory/diagnostic instrumentation or related field.
  • Advanced understanding of Diagnostics or Healthcare Industry with emphasis on Laboratory Regulatory environment.
Travel & Physical Requirements
  • Willing to travel domestically at least 85% of the time (based on position needs).
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50 lb.
Preferred Experience
  • Medical technology experience
  • Standard Laboratory Practices, including Quality Control, record keeping, and regulatory requirements (CAP, CLIA, COLA)
Additional Information

At Beckman Coulter Diagnostics we support flexible, remote work arrangements for eligible roles. This position is eligible for a remote work arrangement; interview teams will provide additional details.

The hourly range for this role is $38.46 - $45.67 per hour. This range is the current good-faith estimate and may be modified in the future. The role is eligible for bonus/incentive pay. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k) to eligible employees.
