Job description

Oxipital AI is on a mission to revolutionize the manufacturing industry with its cutting‑edge AI‑enabled machine vision solutions. These solutions drive greater resilience, operational efficiency, and sustainability in the most complex and critical manufacturing processes. As a fast‑growing company striving to make a difference every day, we are seeking a technically driven Senior Field Applications Engineer/Sr. Solutions Engineer to support the growth and adoption of our AI enabled vision inspection and vision guided robotic platforms across global manufacturing sectors. Oxipital AI serves a broad range of discrete and process manufacturing industries where visual intelligence, precision inspection, and robotic automation deliver measurable value. Key verticals include Food & Beverage Manufacturing (contamination detection and AI‑guided sorting), Consumer Goods & Industrial Packaging, Life Sciences Medical Devices and Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, and Advanced Electronics.

The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between customers and our engineering team—translating customer needs into technical requirements, demonstrating the value of our solutions, and performing successful proof‑of‑concept deployments that drive new business opportunities. Working closely with sales and marketing teams, this role will play a critical part in scaling Oxipital AI’s market presence and enabling manufacturers to achieve new levels of precision, efficiency, and intelligence in production.

If you’re excited by cutting‑edge technology, energized by fast‑paced collaboration, and motivated by the opportunity to help manufacturers achieve a new standard of operational excellence — we want to hear from you!

Primary Responsibilities
  • Act as a bridge between customers, sales, and engineering—ensuring customer requirements are accurately captured and reflected in technical solution development.
  • Work closely with the Business Development Managers to support pre‑sales function, including evaluating opportunities and projects for technology alignment with a potential client’s project objectives and to define project performance criteria.
  • Translate customer needs into clear technical specifications and collaborate with internal sales, engineering, and operations teams to ensure solution alignment.
  • Lead technical presentations, demos, and PoC projects for potential customers.
  • Prepare and deliver technical results documentation and ROI analyses for prospective clients.
  • Travel to customer sites to support the following objectives: demos, training, technical discussions, installs, post‑install support.
  • Manage large‑scale capital equipment and robotics projects from concept through delivery, developing detailed project plans, schedules, and risk mitigation strategies while coordinating communication between Oxipital AI, integrator partners, and key customer stakeholders to ensure seamless execution and successful outcomes.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project execution, facilitating clear, proactive communication between customers, integrators, and internal leadership to ensure expectations, deliverables, and technical requirements are fully aligned.
  • Provide transparent project progress updates and milestone reporting to Oxipital AI senior management, identifying potential risks or delays early and proposing actionable solutions to maintain delivery commitments.
  • Act as the local project manager, including developing standardized workflows, documentation practices, and project governance models that will support the company’s growth and operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to provide technical details for compelling marketing materials — including case studies, application notes, and demo content that highlight technical capabilities and customer value.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • At least 5 years experience with machine vision or robotics.
  • Strong understanding of image processing and machine learning.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple technical projects at once.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Experience creating demos or PoC systems in an industrial environment.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of Robotics, PLC, or Controls Engineering.
  • Experience with CRM; Salesforce preferred.
