Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) is seeking a senior level sonographer for the Fetal Heart Program. The role focuses on high- level fetal cardiovascular imaging via echocardiography, with responsibilities including record keeping, education of fellows and sonographers, and participation in outreach and research initiatives.

The position involves leadership within the program, ongoing quality improvement, and potential travel between CHOP locations to support multidisciplinary imaging

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's preferred.
• At least five years of scanning and medical imaging experience.
• At least five years of imaging pediatric cardiology patients.
• CPR and cardiac sonography credentials required (ACS/RDCS/RDMS).

Responsibilities

• Perform high-level fetal cardiovascular imaging via echocardiography.
• Maintain accurate data in digital image reporting systems.
• Assist with fetal echocardiography during fetal OR cases.
• Participate in Fetal Heart Program outreach clinics and education.
• Train and evaluate fetal cardiovascular sonographers and fellows.
• Lead in research activities and program quality initiatives.
